Real estate requires a high level of attention to detail...
Real estate requires a high level of attention to detail; the lack of attention is often what brings a client to a lawyer. In 30 years of practicing law, we have handled a variety of real estate matters, including:
- Deeds and Leases
- Landlord/Tenant Law
- Real Estate Contracts
- Foreclosures
- Zoning and Land Use
Knowledge of the law and an ability to interpret contracts is critical to providing effective representation to clients in these matters. Our office is a short walk to the Lynchburg Circuit Court Clerk’s Office or an easy drive to Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell Counties, which makes it convenient to review documents in the appropriate clerk’s office. If issues arise unique to real estate, such as boundary line disputes, ownership issues, easements, etc., that are not susceptible to negotiation, then our courtroom experience makes us quite comfortable in an adversarial setting.
